So today League had a big update 10.23. Ranked season ended yesterday. I ended up in silver and didn’t get to gold which means I didn’t get the Victorious Lucian skin which is a bit sad, but that is the consequence for not playing enough ranked throughout the season.
So as pre-season has started they released a big patch update which added many new items, removed a lot and also reworked how the shops work. So as it is no items are divided into different ranks. You have “Common”, “Legendary” and “Mythic” (yeah I know it’s pretty weird). So you can only have one mythic item per game and all the finished items goes under the legendary category. They made some changes to jungle item as well. The way it looks like just now it seems like assassin’s are going to be the strongest class so champions like Katarina, Talon, Akali etc, which I think is quite upsetting since I really hate assassin’s. There have also made it so that enchanted supports aren’t as strong anymore which means back to Leona for me LUL. There are soo many other things like “Athens unholy grail” is not an item anymore and some of items has kind of merged and other are kind of the same but under a different name. There are too many changes to cover in this post.
I’m excited for what the next season will bring. I really love the new look of the in game shops. Some thinks it’s more confusing, but I find it more organised. It’s also a neat feature that atm when your in the home screen in the client you can click on an item and there will be a small video attached to it. The fact that promos will be removed for next season is also something I’m looking forward. No more having to re do your promos because random people on your team keeps loosing you the game. I have decide to try out karma main, but we will se. Hopefully you guys are excited about it as well. There are also an upcoming patch in Dead by daylight, but more on that in another post.
