Girls night out!

This Friday me and my sister hang out with our cousins, which was super nice. We haven’t had a proper hang out ever since we were kids. So we went to their place at 6pm. Both of my cousins are huge dog lovers so we get greeted my a very friendly dog called Lilly. We started the nice night with just telling each other about how our days has been lately. Talked mostly about work before we headed over to the table. For dinner we had all kinds of delicious small meals. There were chicken pasta, smoked salmon rolls filled with chives, roasted potato boats, Focaccia, olives and some dips like Tzatziki and chili mayo. Everything tasted soo good and it was soo hard to not over eat.

After that lovely meal we headed over to the living room, talk some more and we did stumble upon some very interesting topics. One of the were about the election in the US and about Trump which I won’t go into details on, but the other one was about animals.

So my cousin told a story about a time when she went shopping and put her dog in front of the entrance so that the could look at each other and the dog wouldn’t be too scared. Then this woman before her in the queue wants too leave, but is too afraid to walk past the dog.

We talked tried to convince my cousin that if you had an something very traumatic happening to you when you’re a kid then it can be hard to get over it and look at dogs as a sweet and loving animals. It took time and both of us had some great arguments. We ended up with her understanding, but still found it strange and that was the result we could get.

All in all it was a very lovely evening. Towards the end after my sister had left with her boyfriend who had joined after dinner I shared my relationship problems with them and they suggested that breaking up would be the best option so I just did it there. Because of covid and it was a long distance relationship there were no face to face breakup. I still feel guilty about breaking up and hurting his feeling, but I just gotta be strong and try to not give into the temptation to regret it and try again.

That was it from me this time around. I hope everyone has had a nice weekend and a lovely Halloween.
